In His Time

Have you ever wondered why there are things in life that we prayed for but we don't get an immediate response from God? And you start questioning your faith and doubted if God heard what you're praying for?

Maybe most of us experienced it.

Isaiah 55:8-9 New International Version (NIV)
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,  neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,  so are my ways higher than your ways  and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God's ways and thoughts will always be better than us. Maybe the pain you are experiencing right now will be the lesson that you will need for the future. Maybe the defeat you experienced will be the fire that you will use for your next move in life. Whatever we are going through right now there is always a reason for that.

A plan to prosper you.

Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We need to trust in Him. We need to let Him move for us. He knows what's best for us. Since the day we were born, He already has the blueprint of our life. He is the best father and He will never harm His children. There’s nothing in the galaxy that is outside of God’s grand plan.

Lean not on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Know God. Trust Him with all your heart for His ways are better than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Acknowledge Him in everything that we do.

There’s a line in the song by Hillsong Worship, Season that really strikes  a chord in my heart,
"I can see the promise. I can see the future. You’re the God of seasons, I’m just in the winter."

Trust in His time! God is working something great in your life!
