Never kill your dreams

When you were young

You always dream of something. You always dream of something. You dreamed of being the next President of the Philippines, you dreamed about being an astronaut, you dreamed about being a doctor who lends his hands to those in need. You dreamed of being a scientist that will soon cure cancer. We always think of the bigger picture. We always believe that we can be what want to be. We always see the best version of ourselves.

Time flies and you grew up

Admit or not, most people lost their creativity. They stick with the norms of the society, some kids who dreamed of being the best basketball player in the world end up taking a degree in a certain field because that is in demand.

What if that kid is LeBron James?

One of the greatest basketball player in NBA history. What if he stopped chasing his dream? Will he be the 4x MVP, 3x NBA Champion he is today? Of course, he will never be in a position he is now if he stopped pursuing his dream. The thing is, never stop pursuing your dreams. You'll never know what will happen if you pursue what you want. 50 years after you never did something for that, you'll wake up and you will tell yourself "What if I followed my dreams?" Would you like to be the guy who has regrets in his life?

It's never too late to start again

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream" -Les Brown
"To be able at any moment, to sacrifice what you are for what you will become"- Eric Thomas
Are you afraid to take the risk? Scared whether you will succeed or not? Anxious? Don't let that mindset stop you from achieving your full potential. You were born for greatness, our creator won't put you here if he doesn't have a plan for you. Give up everything. If you fail, get back and be the better version of you, grow through that failure. "Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever"

What is your "why"?

Every time things get tough, every time you bump into a Goliath. You have to remember your "why". Why are you doing it? Why are you grinding on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 times a week?  You are doing something for a reason, you are not doing it for no reason. Carmelo Anthony will not work out at 1:49 am for nothing, he did it because he is hungry for success. He badly wants that ring, he wants to be a beast on the court. Whatever your "why" is, you have to constantly remind yourself about that. It will make your journey more fulfilling. Your "why" have to be greater than your doubts.
