A View from Above

Close your eyes.
See yourself above you.
Then zoom out to see the streets and houses near you.
Zoom out to see your city,
Zoom out to see the world,
Zoom out to see the other planets and stars.

Have you imagined how tiny we are in this universe? All of us are like microorganisms in this vast world, a tiny speck of stardust, adrift in the immeasurable vastness of the cosmos. This Earth is merely a single planet, a small grain of sand by comparison with the endless tracts of cosmic space.

If we consider this perspective, we can assume that no matter how big we think our problems are, it won't still affect the order of the universe. No matter how big the struggles and situation, it's safe to say that challenges in life are just a tiny fraction of this gigantic place that we are all in.

Gratitude is vastly underrated but by doing this mental exercise, it can help us be more appreciative of all the things that we have. The world is a beautiful place consists of different plants, trees, and species. We are all here to balance the ecosystem, to have a specific purpose in life.

You see your life in a bigger picture. Some things are under our control, and some are not. Instead of dwelling on those things that are not in our control, we must focus on those things that we can control to achieve our purpose in life.
